Merritt Elementary Auditorium seats 750 and plays host to the Mountain Iron Buhl Ranger artistic activities. The center portion of this performance venue seats 475 individuals and offers an intimate setting for some of the largest scale productions.

Merritt Elementary Auditorium hosts the World Champion Fiddling Contest every August and a large scale musical production every fall. This stage also has hosted the Mesabi Symphony Orchestra, the Northern Lights Opera Company, and the Lyric Center for the Arts.
