OAK HILL CEMETERY TOUR
This popular 90-minute tour led by Mike Hays and Bill Batson visits the gravesites of some of Nyacks most famous citizens, including Edward Hopper, Carson McCullers, Joseph Cornell, Helen Hayes, Ben Hecht, Nyack Police Officer Waverly (Chipper) Brown - Brinks Robbery victim. In addition, we will look at some of the most artistic and curious Oak Hill gravestones.
While the tour guides share some history, be prepared to enjoy some of the finest scenery Nyack can offer, especially in this colorful autumn season.
Enter through the main gate on Rte 9W - there will be someone outside the office giving driving instructions - guests will drive to the top of the hill and park as directed
Brown Paper Ticket sales will close at 8PM the night before the event.
We will post the number of "day of" tickets available on this link shortly after sales close. Those will be available on a first-come basis on the day of the tour.
