About (Pascal Laugier, 2008, France, 99 min, in French with English subtitles)
Co-presented with Scarecrow Video, where every ticket sold benefits the Sustain Our Scarecrow Fund, keeping the worlds largest physical media library alive, so no romance, no comedy, not even New French Extremity, is lost to time. Each Trauma Bond screening features a live Drag pre-show from Seattles own living cult classic, Monday Mourning.
The pinnacle of the New French Extremity movement, Martyrs pushes horror to its breaking point. What begins as a revenge story between two young women unravels into something far darker. Pain, transcendence, and the limits of human endurance this shocking, divisive, and unforgettable film remains one of the most extreme and challenging horrors ever made.

Accesibilidad
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at rajah@nwfilmforum.org
