About (Pier Paolo Pasolini, 1975, Italy, 117 min, in Italian with English Subtitles)
Co-Presented with Scarecrow Video, where every ticket sold benefits the Sustain Our Scarecrow Fund, keeping the worlds largest physical media alive so no romance, no comedy, not even New French Extremity is lost to time. Each Trauma Bond screening features a live Drag pre-show from Seattles own living cult classic, Monday Mourning.
Pier Paolo Pasolinis Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom remains one of cinemas most notorious provocations, often cited as one of the most disturbing films of all time a brutal descent into fascist excess where cruelty is ritualized and nothing is left sacred. Banned, censored, and whispered about for decades, this cult landmark transforms the Marquis de Sades tale into a shocking, unflinching, and relentlessly transgressive film that cant be unseen.

Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at rajah@nwfilmforum.org
