Nice Try | Kickoff Event
Join us for the very first Nice Try Seattle screening! Were a brand-new nonprofit bringing together local filmmakers and creatives for a night of short films, conversation, and community.
Were hosting a screening of shorts made by Seattle-area creators trying out something new; whether thats a fresh technique, a new-to-them genre, or working with people theyve never met before. After the films, well have a casual panel chat with the filmmakers, and the audience will vote for one winner to join a new group of filmmakers the next event. If youre into community, creativity, and maybe meeting your next collaborator, wed love to see you there.
Were thrilled to be holding this months screening at The Beacon cinema, one of our favorite spaces for independent film in Seattle. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, and space is limitedgrab yours and come be part of Nice Try!
