Theatre Americana presents "Hot Time in the City": A 2-day vibe fest
WE are so due for some great vibes. Theatre Americana's mid-summer weekend event boasts a robust line of talent that brings the energy of dance, live music, and the passion of playwrights together to create a unique and powerful experience.
Saturday, July 12th brings you the Doo Drops, featuring Doo Wop and Motown - this band will have you on your feet dancing to some of the most iconic songs. Live music at it's best, and they'll warm you up for the next portion of the evening - line dancing Country Western style. Theatre Americana's Country Western show has all the elements of a traditional and pop country show. Our country western show serves up a generous helping of classic country music featuring voices that bring a vocally transcending experience that will take you out of the city into the country! So put on some boots, grab your cowboy hat, call your friends and tell them to meet you to rock the night away country style. Line Dancers get ready to take the floor!
Sunday, July 13, 2025, the Alliance of L.A. Playwrights (ALAP) in conjunction with Theatre Americana presents an afternoon of July madness, with short scenes and monologues written by ALAP members, and featuring guest vocalist, Sandy Rogers.
Add some light appetizers and a no-host bar, and you have an arts weekend with something for everyone.
