We're looking forward to seeing you, May 8-11 for the 2025 Parkfield Bluegrass Festival's 25th Anniversary! We'll be updating this site as we get closer to the festival.
and many other amazing acts to come plus: Kids' programs, instrument workshops, jamming, raffle, great food and craft vendors, and the barn dance.
For the past 25 years music fans in steadily growing numbers have savored Parkfield's natural beauty and peaceful ambiance. Every Mother's Day weekend finds this sleepy little paradise transformed into a veritable bluegrass dream. Nature's soothing sights and sounds combine with the soulful high lonesome sound of bluegrass music. It's an experience that almost defies description - live bands on a cozy stage in a backyard setting that makes you want it to never end.
Dozens of acres of flat "boon-dock" style camping sites, plenty of shade, and hot showers available.

The Bluegrass Music Society of the Central Coast welcomes you to the 25th annual Parkfield Bluegrass Festival. BMSCC's Board of Directors and festival personnel ask that you cooperate with guidelines governing conduct of attendees. Please read the following rules and regulations carefully. By following these simple guidelines, we all can enjoy our festival days together in harmony and enjoy some wonderful music!
Camping beginning Wednesday May 7th: with Multi Day Festival ticket purchases. No Early Camping/Arrival before Wednesday May 7th. Please note that there are no vendors or restaurant service until Thursday, May 8th.
CAMPFIRES: Sorry No Open Fires or any open burning, including charcoal, camp and cooking fires. Propane stoves & heaters are OK. Please be very careful.
PETS WELCOME: Pets are welcome, but not in the audience area. They must be kept on a leash, quiet & under the owners control at all times. Festival staff reserves the right to have unruly or uncontrolled pets removed from the site.
SERVICE ANIMALS: - Anyone who owns a service animal, or who is licensed to train a service animal, may bring said animal to the festival, pursuant to the federal Americans With Disabilities Act and the Unruh Civil Right Act (Calif. Civil Code sections 54-55.2), A service animal may assist its owner while in common areas provided the animal behaves appropriately and unobtrusively, Each such animal shall be kept on a leash, in a carrier, or otherwise under the direct control of the animal owner.
SMOKING: No smoking or vaping in audience area
GENERATOR GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY: For the safety and pleasure of neighboring campers and RVers, a generator diversion exhaust system is required for all onboard generators. The exhaust system shall redirect exhaust exiting above the top level of your RV reducing the noise and divert harmful exhaust fumes away from the ground, where they are often inhaled by neighbors. Please be very considerate if using an external generator. Some type of sound baffling may be necessary. Fumes can be a problem here too. Remember, your neighbors may be in a tent. If the use of a generator is deemed to be unreasonably loud or smelly by the facility staff, use of the generator may be limited &/or prohibited. Hours of operation are 8 AM to 9 PM.
UAS/DRONE: Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) / Drones shall not be flown within the Parkfield airspace.
CAMPING UNIT: comprises a campsite with tent and no more than two automobiles or camping vehicles (motor home, trailer, etc.) -- festival staff reserves discretion to make determinations regarding overnight camping charges.
ELECTRICAL SITES: There are a limited number of electrical sites. Electric hookup purchases are available with the purchase of multi-day festival tickets. - Only campers who purchase Electrical Hookup may camp in the designated electrical sites. NOTE: With the purchase of electrical fee, we coordinate your preferred electric hookup campsite using the contact information provided during ordering. All electric hookup sites are pre-assigned. Assignment priority is based on your on-line purchase selection otherwise mail-in purchases are based on the date that your electrical fee payment is received and current site availability. - Electric hookups are GFI protected. You are responsible for your units GFI compatibility; - Electric Site selections include 30 Amp and 20 Amp ratings allowing use of your units Air Conditioner:
