A choreographers showcase in Asheville, NC with 4 repeat performances.
Witnessing and performing become an intimate exchange in With/In Sight! Once the audience is given its intention as witnesses and some simple tools for recording responses, the exchange is tangible.
Let's celebrate ourselves - audience and dancers alike - our artistry from inwardness to outward expression. Come be a part of this program of Dance and Spirituality and witness how movement, gesture, and breath not only offer a gamut of expression, but how it lands in you. GO INWARD, BREATHE, and CONNECT with us. We look forward to seeing you in the dance.

Idelle Packer is joined by collaborator Amanda Levesque and choreographers Jessica Damon and Michele Torino Hower in a showcase of varied choreography on the theme of spirituality. What does it mean to dig deeply inwardly to create an outward expression in the art form of dance? Our program intends to do just that and bring the audience along on the journey. Elevation and inspiration are an exchange endeavor, with dancer and audience influencing each other. Sections of the performances are interactive with the audience creating this tangible exchange. Come be our witness, creator and influencer, deepening the experience of what dance can instill in audience and performers alike.

Our concert is dedicated to Tammy Weinburger, childhood friend of Idelle's children and now an adult battling Stage 4 Breast Cancer. We will be selling a 50-50 raffle, $10 a ticket, throughout intermission with a drawing at the concert's conclusion.

The JCC is an accessible venue with elevator to take you to the 2nd floor 'theater'. Seating for those who cannot climb stairs available. House opens at 7:10 allowing time to be seated by House Manager, Arora. Let her know your needs.
