Jarren Benton:
Four years after being voted in by fans as the Peoples Choice selection for XXLs 2014 Freshman Cover, Jarren Benton is starting over. Known for his ferociously lyrical, tongue-in-cheek horrorcore style, Benton gained recognition in 2012 on the indie label Funk Volume with mixtapes like Huffing Glue with Hasselhoff and Freebasing With Kevin Bacon. His time with the label included a debut album, an EP, and extensive tours before its sudden fold in 2016. Now, Benton is blending his established lyricism with new emotions, reflecting his recent experiences.

Demrick:
West Coast rapper Demrick, known for his energetic party anthems and stoner culture, gained wider recognition with the 2016 mixtape Blaze with Us, a collaboration with Dizzy Wright. Born Demerick Ferm, he began his career as Young De in Philadelphia before moving to Los Angeles. There, he worked with Kurupt and Cypress Hill's B-Real, leading to multiple collaborations and solo projects. His notable works include the mixtapes Losing Focus and Stoney Point, the album Collect Call, and the more reflective Came a Long Way in 2018.

Locksmith:
Born Davood Asgari in Richmond, California, Locksmith is a rapper and producer who gained prominence as a battle MC and half of the Frontline. The duo, known for their socially conscious lyrics, released several mixtapes and albums in the early 2000s. Locksmith's battle rap success led to solo projects like The Rare Form EP, The Locktape, and I Am Lock. His solo debut, A Thousand Cuts, arrived in 2014, followed by Lofty Goals in 2015. Locksmith is recognized for his positive message and lyrical prowess.
