Loosely based on the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen, Sierra School of Performing Arts' production of "The Little Mermaid" tells the story of Ariel, a young mermaid and youngest daughter of King Triton, who longs to be where the people are, above the surface. Her father forbids it, but after rescuing Prince Eric from drowning, she falls in love and is willing to give up her voice to make her dreams come true. This Disney musical boasts all the beloved songs from the Disney movie, including Part of your World and Under the Sea, as well as all the favorite characters, including Flounder, Sebastian, Scuttle, and of course, Ursula. Gather family and friends for the holiday event you will never forget. This production features elaborate sets and costumes, and our talented cast is not to be missed! If you liked last year's "Peter Pan," you'll love "The Little Mermaid Jr."
