SDCDA Spring Recitals for 2023
Welcome to our 2023 Recital Season! For many students this recital is a "debut", their very first theatrical experience. For some, it is an exciting culmination of the year's recreational activity. For others, it is but a stepping stone on the road to a possible career in dance. Whatever the stage of development, the staff's goal for our students is to instill in all a lifelong love for dance arts.
Each recital show is unique, highlighting dancers from different recreation centers citywide, and culminates in a 25 minute dance production that tells a story. This years recital production is called Time After Time: As if making friends isn't hard enough, whenever you do, your parents move again. Join our dancers as they learn to adjust to their new school and city, Time After Time, until they finally find a place to call home.
