MG Xing EVER GRAS
The History of Ancient Mardi Gras is a tabletop puppet show that explores the complexities of Carnival Season. Created by Miss Pussycat, with a live foley soundtrack by Quintron.
Miss Pussycat started doing puppet shows as a child in the Christian Puppet Youth Ministry. Since becoming an adult, she performs puppet shows in rock clubs, pizza restaurants, dive bars and basements all over the world, usually with Quintron. Her puppets have been displayed at the New Orleans Museum of Art, The CAC, and The Ogden Museum of Southern Art. In 2022 she did a puppet installation at the Ohr OKeefe Museum in Biloxi. She and Quintron have created many puppet movies and videos including North Pole Nutrias. Their work can be seen on Night Flight.
