Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre will continue its 2022-2023 Season beginning December 2 with the comedy Inspecting Carol, written by Daniel Sullivan & the Seattle Repertory Theatre. Performances begin Friday, December 2 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 in LAPCs Dow Arena Theatre.
A Christmas Carol meets The Government Inspector meets Noises Off in this hilarious holiday hit. A man who asks to audition at a small theatre company is mistaken for an informer for the National Endowment for the Arts. Everyone caters to the bewildered wannabe actor, and he is given a role in the current production of A Christmas Carol. Everything goes wrong and hilarity ensues. This laugh out loud spoof makes for a night at the theatre that is anything but show business as usual.
LAPC Theatre's production is being directed by Esdras Toussaint. The cast includes Bella Bitran, Whitney Evans, Pahola Godinez, Pantea Kiani, Ramtin MK, Angelo Rosales, Ryan Snyders, Shane Steinman, Andrew Tafur, Ayliz Urkmez, Dale Van Slyke and Victoria Zamora.
The production features scenic design by Jordon Kieff, lighting design by Edward Salas, costume design by Eileen Gizienski and sound design by DJ Medina. Sasha Santa Cruz is the stage manager.
Inspecting Carol will open in the Dow Arena Theatre in the Performing Arts Center on the Pierce College campus on Friday, Dec. 2 and continue with performances on on Dec. 3, 4, 9,10 and 11. Performance times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are priced at $15 for students, $18 for seniors and $23 for general admission. Free parking is conveniently located in parking lot #6 on the Pierce College campus (6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills, CA, 91371), adjacent to the Performing Arts Center.
