A season subscription includes one ticket per subscriber to each of the following four productions plus our annual New Works Weekend.

MCTs 2023 Season

The Humans by Stephen Karam
March 17-April 9
Directed by Miguel Reyna
The Humans tells the story of the quintessential family reunion--a group of people who love
each other but still wrestle with basic human fears: old age, abandonment, poverty, and death.
Filled with equal parts humor and hurt, the family explores each other's familiar idiosyncrasies
yet finds a deeper meaning in the struggles of life.

The Viewing Room by Mark Smith
May 19-June 11
Directed by Peter Gelblum
When he died, Chester Dumbrosky had a lot to be sorry for in his relationships with his wife and
children.  But he didn';t let death stop him - he appears at his own wake to try to make amends
and heal old wounds.  The ensuing uproarious laughter turns serious as his dysfunctional family
seeks to resolve conflicts that everyone will recognize, if they can stop laughing long enough.

New Works Weekend - Play to be Announced
August 18-20
Directed by Hannah Eckstein

Something Rotten! By Karey Kirkpatrick and John OFarrell
Music & Lyrics by Karen & Wayne Kirkpatrick
September 22-October 15
Directed by Kathie Kratochvil
This hilarious musical comedy, nominated for 9 Tony Awards, is set in the 1590s, and brothers
Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of
Shakespeare. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theater involves singing,
dancing, and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the worlds first musical.

A Home for Christmas by Ann Eskridge
November 24-December 17
Directed by Karin Babbitt
This holiday play is perfect for the whole family and is both heartfelt and funny. A group of
people without homes who seek shelter from a Thanksgiving blizzard not only find a house but
create a home to help them weather their emotional scars. They then discover that a jealous
neighbor is willing to destroy the home and family that they have worked so hard to create.
