Wings of Life Featuring Billy and Anais Yeager
Wings of Life Featuring Billy and Anais Yeager

Wings of Life is a benefit concert featuring the music of musicians, filmmakers, activists and humanitarians Billy and Anais Yeager. Proceeds are being used to help Wild Florida Rescue.

Billy Yeager is a singer-songwriter, musician, actor and filmmaker who has recorded music with many world-renowned musicians such as the Inner Circle Band, Ira Sullivan, and "world's greatest bass player" Jaco Pastorius. He has been discovered numerous times (about) by people such as Grammy Award Winner Bruce Hornsby, Rod Stewart, and music manager Doc McGhee (Kiss and Bon Jovi).

Many industry professionals such as Chuck Gregory (Columbia Records) continued to pursue Yeager for his musical talents, but instead Billy shifted his attention to filmmaking (IMDB)and humanitarian causes.

Yeager's life story was brought to the public's attention when John Pierson "Independent Films' Most Powerful Person" (film rep Michael Moore, Spike Lee, Kevin Smith, Richard Linklater) featured a story about Yeager's films and music on Bravo Television in 1997.

Billy Yeager composes and performs all the instruments himself for his films and music. Yeager has written, produced and directed 5 independent feature films, each receiving awards. In 2002, Yeager produced and directed the film The Florida Highwaymen, the documentary about the famous Florida Highwaymen. In 2003 he produced, directed and acted in the film A Perfect Song, where he won Best Actor Award at the Delray Beach Film Festival in 2004.

His film Jimmy's Story won Best Documentary Feature Film at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and also won 4 Awards at the DIFF International Film Festival.

Billy and Anais' film Sebastian Beach One Fine Day (2012 SURFER ) was an Official Premiere at the NYC Surf Film Festival.

In 2016, Damon Blalack produced the documentary film Billy Yeager The Ineffable Enigma which tells the story about Yeager's life, music and films.

Billy and Anais

Beginning in 2005, Billy and his wife, Anais, invested 7 years producing, directing and acting in their movie Jesus of Malibu. The Yeagers' story of renouncing worldly desires and retreating into the Mojave desert for over 4 years was featured on KOTA News and The Film Independent.

The Yeagers are also activists, taking on causes such as providing wheelchairs for landmine victims, (BPT) human rights, and animal cruelty. In 2011 the Yeagers brilliantly executed a "media activist campaign" where they called out corrupt corporations concerning poverty and greed, and received international attention.

In 2013 a documentary film was produced about the Yeagers and their story. The Film That Changed The World, directed by Michael Kirk, tells the story of the Yeagers' desire to create a transcendental film, raise conscious awareness and change the world.

The film won Most Inspirational Movie Award at the Red Dirt International Film Festival in 2015.
The Yeagers continue to create art, music and films and use their talents not to simply entertain, but to change the world for the better of humanity.
