We are living in very different times at the moment. With those differences comes challenges for people which can affect them in different ways. One of the most significant effects will be on peoples mental health. Everyone will respond differently, but we need to be mindful of the impact of loneliness, anxiety, stress and trauma that people are experiencing at this time.
Ethical practice as a coach means that we refer people to other support professionals, as appropriate.
The Mental Health Aware workshop will help you become more aware about some of these issues and give you the confidence to coach someone who is in distress and may be experiencing a mental health issue and know when to refer on. It will also help you to look after your own mental health which is vital if you are to be able to support others.
This 4 hour interactive workshop will use a variety of presentations, group discussions and other activities and at the end of the workshop you will receive a certificate. A manual will also be sent out by post.
