Chickenshed NYC Tales from the Shed: Puppet shows for ages 0-5

Tales from the Shed are vibrant, interactive theatre shows for ages 0-5, in which the children take the lead. They are informal, lively and engaging as the performers and audience share the same space. The children are always encouraged to move and their contributions help the story unfold. Featuring colorful puppets and live music, we sing, dance and laugh along with many of our much loved characters from Ella Isa the elephant to laidback Lion Down and The Thing That Goes Blurgh!

All shows last approximately 45 minutes, plus 15 minutes at the end for families and friends to take pictures with puppets.

Why the name Chickenshed? The first show literally took place in a chicken shed in the English countryside more than 45 years ago and we are thrilled to bring our unique methodology to NYC.
