MCVTS Theatre presents William Shakespeares Julius Caesar directed by Maria Aladren. The premise is about jealous conspirators convincing Caesars companion, Brutus to betray him before he becomes too powerful. This production depicts roles and the mold of power structures. Step into the viewpoint with this immersive-interactive show, and embark on the journey with each character. Witness the rise of the Conspirators. Interact with the characters in unimaginable ways, where the audience will have the opportunity to move freely and at their own pace. Travel through the world of Julius Caesar for one night, or any character of your choosing. This is not your usual Shakespearean production. A waiver will be provided for audience members to decide whether or not they wish to be in contact with the cast. There will be a retreating area for any audience member who wishes to not engage with the groups.

We wish to invite you to interact with the cast and their paths. Be able to roam around the premises of the school. The adventure will be held at Middlesex County Vocational Technical school, 112 Rues Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 at 7 pm. Tickets are $20 for the public and $10 for students. K-12 teachers and administrators and industry professionals are welcome for free. Tickets will be sold online. The run time of the interaction will be 75 minutes.

The production will consist of Lauren White of Colonia, Ruth Learn of New Brunswick, Kaia Kendzulak of East Brunswick, Nyla Russell of Carteret, Tiana Polanco, Kimberly Gonzalez Sabrina Acosta-Lopez, Dariel Angeles, and Brianna Bradsher of Perth Amboy.

MCVTS Theatre is a conservatory-style high school program and part of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School systems in New Jersey. MCVTS Theatre provides an intensive, laboratory-based foundation for young artists seeking excellence in the field of the arts. The program prepares students for entry into Bachelor of Fine Arts college programs and future employment in the arts. MCVTS Theatre aims to prepare well-rounded, knowledgeable artists for the 21st century, developing in our students' habits that will last them a lifetime and serve them in their future professional career and future life in the arts.
