Come and support Trio De Femmes Sheri Brown and Lela Besom fly across the Atlantic Ocean in a fantabulous FUN HOUSE fun night of inspiring local talent including Carly Martin(original music comedy), Andy Zadrozny (stand up bass), Jane MaybrySmith + Amy Denio (electric guitar & vocals), Huey and the InFLOWentials (jazz/hip hop), Abby London, and more.

Trio De Femmes is a collaborative, interdisciplinary performance project created by three women artists who are manifesting a creative platform for artists and the public to explore and present personal stories about vulnerability, violation, empowerment, dreaming and blossoming through a critical lens of gender construction in society.

Trio De Femmes was birthed from a butoh performance conceived by Shoko Zama in the TK lofts 3 years ago on the Japanese holiday Girls Celebration Day. It evolved through a series of performance offerings in Seattle, including the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival at Seattle Center and the Pocket Theater. In April 2018 Trio De Femmes successfully completed their collaborative model in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, performing at the Shelter Theater with local artists from San Miguel, Mexico City, and Querétaro. Thanks to fundraising contributions leading up to that venture, TDF were able to cover most of their travel costs and most joyfully pay the artists in Mexico!

Trio De Femmes offer public workshops and work with local artists to complexify the conversation in a creative and welcoming way. The piece itself is designed with flexibility in mind, so that more artists can join in and contribute their own voice on stage.
This summer TDF will travel to Belgium and the UK where they will develop their show with artist Nelly Light, butoh artist Ken Mai, and performing workshop participants.
