The Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Company #2 is a group of dedicated Men and Women who protect and serve your community whenever the need arises.

Egg Harbor Township has a 100% volunteer fire and rescue service. This brings one obvious advantage to our residents- millions of dollars saved on salaries, benefits, and pension liabilities, and it also brings other benefits. Those who come to assist you are your friends and neighbors. Whether it is a carbon monoxide detector beeping for no apparent reason in the middle of the night or a fully involved structure fire, we respond, because you are members of our community, not our employers. We respond to almost 500 calls per year. This year we were out in force during all the winter storms and we will continue to be out for you!

We operate strictly on a volunteer basis and count on donations from residents and businesses in our community. All proceeds will directly benefit our daily operation including to help us maintain our firehouse which allows us to continue to serve our friends and neighbors in Egg Harbor Township and our commitments to our Mutual Aid agreements with participating agencies and municipalities.
