Northwest Lamboree

Did you ever want to learn more about sheep but never had the chance to ask? Well, here's your chance!

Northwest Lamboree will be held at the Lefever-Holbrook Ranch in Goldendale, WA on June 1, 2019.

Join us for this one day event to learn all about sheep from head to toe. Experienced producers, showmen, breeders, and judges in the Northwest will be your teachers.

Learn what it takes to have a top market lamb project; gain an appreciation for the entire sheep industry; discover what it takes to get started in sheep; tune up your flock management skills; see how to shear market and fiber lambs by a professional; take a felting class with Amy Wolf and learn how to make a felted lamb or wool dryer balls; learn about direct marketing of fiber and how to handle, package your wool for a variety of markets; we will also be having a lamb necropsy by DVM Susan Kerr.

There will be programs for beginners as well as the advanced flock owner.

Professional shearer Pierre Monnat will be offering clipper blade sharpening service. Bring your clean and rust free combs and cutters and get them sharpened up for the upcoming showing season.

Cash Only: $2 a Comb and $1 a cutter.

Lunch and Snacks will be provided.
