Private Film Event

Dear Friends,

Please join us for a Private Film Event in celebration of the upcoming completion of our new film, Killian & the Comeback Kids.

Shot right here in the Lehigh Valley, the film was brought to life by the support of Easton Mayor, Sal Panto, local businesses, and locations like the Lafayette Bar, Center Circle in Easton, Steel Stacks and private homes throughout Northampton and Bucks County. We look forward to premiering the film in 2019.

With a cast of stars from Film, TV, and Theatre including Nathan Purdee (Young & the Restless, The Return of Superfly) Kassie DePaiva (Days of Our Lives, Evil Dead II) - Taylor A. Purdee (Gotham, Iron Fist) & Shannon OBoyle (Once Bway, Kinky Boots Bway). As well as Lehigh Valley staples and homegrown talent like Emily Mest (American Horror Story) Godfrey Daniels founder Dave Fry, and a cast of over a hundred Lehigh Valley extras.

Enjoy an exclusive evening of music, early clips from the film, and party with the cast and crew! Original songs from the film will be performed live by acclaimed musician Macheis Wind. There will be a silent auction of offerings from Lehigh Valley businesses, props and wardrobe from the film, unique movie memorabilia from across film and TV history and even a few film related opportunities! It'll be a night to remember.

ABOUT THE FILM
A music movie set at the cross section of small town America and a burgeoning youth culture just beginning to find its voice. Killian & the Comeback Kids follows the story of a young man who lands back home in rural America after an exorbitantly priced education with no prospects, an experience typical of a third of all young people today.

Then, a chance encounter with a childhood acquaintance gives the summer new direction. The two throw together a rag-tag band of other "failed" locals for a shot to play one special show. Armed with only the music, Killian and the band unite the community -- if just for a night.

In the tradition of Once, Inside Llewyn Davis, Sing Street, and The Commitments, the film is accompanied by a soundtrack of original songs that weave through the story.
