Artist Career Consultation
In this 45 minute one-on-one professional development consultation, you will have the opportunity to address your most pressing career queries and issues with an experienced art career coach.  Ms. Emenegger will review your work via your website prior to your meeting and help you flesh out your career ambitions in order to achieve your professional goals.  Please come to the consultation with specific, prepared questions in order to take the best advantage of your session. As applicable, bring any additional tools you use to promote your work: postcards, brochures, portfolio, or other marketing materials.  If materials are electronic, you may bring a laptop (wi-fi available.)


ABOUT MS. EMENEGGER
McLean Emenegger has been providing artist career coaching and Business of Art workshops since 2004. Shes presented lectures and workshops through the National Arts Marketing Project, College Art Association, UCLA Extension, Los Angeles County Arts Commission, Santa Monica College, Center for Cultural Innovation, California Lawyers for the Arts among many others. She joined the faculty of the National Arts Marketing Project in 2016.

McLean began her art world career in 1997 at the Santa Monica Museum of Art (now Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles), and later served as Executive Director of Gallery 825/LAAA. In 2004 she established her art consulting and visual artist support firm, McLean Fine Art, and rebranded her agency McLean Art Projects in 2016. Additionally, McLean has worked in the Curatorial Department of the Armory Center for the Arts, Pasadena, and was Director of Bandini Art Gallery, Culver City. She served as Managing Editor of THE Magazine and Contributing Editor for Bluecanvas and wrote their popular McLeans Artist Advice. Her curatorial projects have been reviewed in Los Angeles Times, Artweek, Artscene, Review Magazine and The Huffington Post. Her recent public exhibition, Welcome to LA/Please Come Again, at Los Angeles World Airports was featured on KCETs Artbound and KPPCs Take Two.
