"Bigfoot Lodge Home for the Holidays" at the Arcata Playhouse

The Arcata Playhouse presents their annual holiday production featuring a quirky collection of comedy, song and special guests. This year's "Bigfoot Lodge Home for the Holidays" will feature Jackie Dandeneau, David Ferney, James Peck, Sarah Peters, Joan Schirle and Bob Wells with live music by Tim Randles. Special guests add to the fun each night. Watch for a visit from, you guessed it, the furry creature of local lore, Bigfoot.

The production highlights well-known local comedic actors doing their renditions of classic acts such as a Laurel and Hardy tribute by Bob Wells and David Ferney and the "Sisters" duo from White Christmas by Joan Schirle and Jackie Dandeneau. The show will also showcase soon to become holiday classics such as "Put it on a Ritz" about last minute holiday appetizers. Featuring sets by Lush Newton and James Hildebrandt.

Each night of the performance will feature different special guests at the Bigfoot Lodge. Guests include the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir, Art Jones, Bandamonium, Paula Jones, The Dance Center and more. For a schedule of guest appearance visit arcataplayhouse.org.

The Bigfoot Lodge opens its doors for two nights only on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6. Tickets are $12 general, $10 seniors and members and $8 for kids 12 and under. The Friday, December 5 performance is a benefit for the Arcata Soroptomist with a special $15 ticket.
