A wonderful holiday performance which will have something for all members of the family. Featuring:
Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria - one of the most popular Baroque works for chorus and orchestra
Morten Lauridsen's Mid-Winter Songs - heralded as an "elegant, engaging, and effective setting, pungently scored, rhythmically varied, and highly flattering to a good chorus . . ."
Moses Hogan's Glory, Glory, Glory to the Newborn King - based on the spiritual "Go Tell It on the Mountain"
John Rutter's Nativity Carol, as well as other seasonal favorites, round out the program.
