Peace Camp

Musicollaborative's "Peace Camp" is an opportunity for children ages 6-12* to explore joyous music, movement, art and nature immersion in a nurturing mixed-age setting 9am-4pm, Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23 (with a Monday-only option available).

In addition to group music, movement and art sessions in the morning and afternoon facilitated by a licensed certified educator, time will be allotted for for self-selection among a variety of music, art and craft centers. Craft projects include origami peace cranes and mandala making. A two-day registration includes a walking field trip to Morning call in the Oaks at nearby City Park with caroling!

Instruments available for exploration and guided practice include hand percussion, mallet percussion and keyboard. Purified water and organic healthy snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon; registrants are asked to pack a lunch.

*5-year-olds who have participated in previous ImmersionArts Camps or MusicFUNdamentals classes are welcome to register as are siblings (5+) of older registrants.
