Greg Zuccolo/ANIMALS Performance Group at JACK
Quick-witted choreographer and performer Greg Zuccolo presents a new version of his series "Too Much Too Soon," in a double bill with ANIMALS Performance Group, who will present a work-in-progress of their new piece "Chase: What Matters Most?"

In "Too Much Too Soon," Zuccolo dances and smack-talks through his own life story and the bad behavior of others, revolutionizing the form of dancing and smack-talking.

In ANIMALS' "Chase: What Matters Most?," six low-level employees of an anonymous bank, all of whom are named Chase, refuse to take the apocalypse seriously. They intersect during work hours, share their findings from individual metaphysical journeys. Studying dreams, anatomy, foreign wars, corporate personhood, climate change, personal training certifications, epidemics, loneliness, the singularity, and other harbingers of doom, the six Chases try and fail to behold the world's terrible face unmasked.

Please note that seating is limited at JACK, and any pre-purchased tickets will be released at five minutes before the start time to the waiting list (should there be one).

A Bessie Award-recipient for dancing, Greg Zuccolo has appeared in the work of Sarah Michelson, Stanley Love and Tere O'Connor. His collaborations with Michael Laub and Remote Control Productions have toured extensively through Europe and the Universe. Sometimes Greg Zuccolo is asked to speak on the stage and has done so for Sybil Kempson, Tina Satter and most recently for Keith McDermott and Catherine Galasso in Jim Neu's "The Floatones." He just returned from a residency at YADDO.  The performance by Zuccolo at JACK is curated by Stacy Grossfield.

ANIMALS PERFORMANCE GROUP shuffles dance, puppetry, text and video into a unique performance style that irreverently questions the durability of the world and the nature of human ability and human play. Founded in 2011 by Nikki Calonge, Michael De Angelis, and Mike Mikos, ANIMALS performed P.Y.T. (poor yellow trash) as part of Puppet Blok at Dixon Place in 2012. In 2013, they showed Backstage at Horror Drag (developed as part of 2012 Short Form) at Incubator Arts Project and subsequently at JACK. The Baroness is the Future premiered at Dixon Place in January of 2014, with following presentations at Catch, Prelude, LMCC Swing Space, and Under the Radar Incoming Series. ANIMALS received the 2013 Tom Murrin Performance Award and have been named among Paper Magazine's 2013 Beautiful People.
