Susan Cattaneo, Jenee Halstead and Danielle Miraglia
Windows down, radio ON! This trio of powerhouse songwriters play the soundtrack to your life!

Susan Cattaneo is a powerful singer and sophisticated songwriter who has seen the darkness in the corners and is not afraid to sing about it. Following in the footsteps of Matraca Berg, Kim Richey, Lucinda Williams and Gretchen Peters, she combines vivid storytelling with a modern songwriter's spin. Call it New England Americana with a twang. Respectful of tradition, but not bound by it, Susan blends rock, folk, soul and blues with a healthy dose of country. Susan's latest record Haunted Heart was on the list of Top 100 Records by The Alternate Root and Best Records From The Boston Area by Twangville.

A modern American singer/songwriter in the truest sense of the genre, Jenee Halstead has much in common with Patty Griffin & Shawn Colvin in both writing style and delivery, what is more impressive is the fact that since her debut album was released in 2008 the quality of the writing has been up there with the very best.  She's a keenly observant writer and has an eye for detail way beyond that of a young artist... Vocally she shares many attributes with Griffin, the range and phrasing certainly have distinct similarities, and this is no bad thing as it makes the whole collection of Jenee's work immediately engaging and somewhat familiar; but from the first listen it is obvious she is ploughing her own furrow with her mix of traditional and contemporary themes.

Halstead grew up in the high desert of Spokane, Washington, the daughter of hippie parents who let her find her own direction. She spent her childhood exploring her mother's garden and singing along to records with her Dad. In middle school, she transformed into the rarest of birds; an athletic choir geek who sang medieval choral works, but loved Led Zeppelin and Dolly Parton. She wrote quietly on her own for years, moving from place to place  Spokane to Seattle to nowhere Alaska, before moving to Boston in 2007.  She collected all of her songs into what would become The River Grace.  Raised By Wolves reclaims the careless freedom of her childhood with a sense of wonder that is unique and fiercely engaging.

Danielle Miraglia (murr-Ä L e a) comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson, an infectious stomp-box rhythm and harmonica with tunes that range from heart-felt to socially conscious and will move both your heart and hips. Danielle's second full length record "Box of Troubles," a bare-bones expression of all these attributes, explores the highs and lows that life has to offer.  Alternate Root says "Danielle Miraglia's guitar work keeps Delta traditions alive. Her steady thumb and playing style trace a direct line to the blues of the field and chicken shacks. Vocally, Danielle's voice digs in, twisting within the delivery, seeming to break but more likely soaring before the fall. 'Box of Troubles' balances good times with the bad, her characters' roles' defined and believable."  Danielle has just completed her third full length record "Glory Junkies" due out March 2015.
