Presenting renowned pianist NAVAH PERLMAN and violinist BENJAMIN BREEN in an Salon Recital from the Golden Era.

MOZART: Sonata No. 4 for piano and violin in E minor KV 304.
BEETHOVEN: Sonata No. 5 "Spring" in F Major for piano and violin Op. 24
CHOPIN: Ballade in G minor Op. 23, BARCAROLLE Op. 60
KREISLER: Liebeslied (Love's Sorrow) - Schon Rosmarin

Navah Perlman:
Known for her lyrical eloquence on the stage, Navah Perlman has established herself as one of the most poetic and admired pianists of her generation. She has performed to critical acclaim in major concert venues throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

Benjamin Breen:
Australian/American violinist Benjamin Breen is recognized internationally for his "exceptional purity of tone" and "beguiling sensitivity" (the Strad) His "intense emotion" and "tone tinged with gold" (Sydney Morning Herald) have led to engagements in Australia, Europe, the United States and Japan.

At HCS we present renowned artists performing chamber music amongst friends and colleagues in Yamaha's intimate salon setting, where the audience can get up close and personal in a manner not possible in a traditional concert hall.

Hudson Chamber Society, was founded by musicians who call New York City home but seldom get to perform together more than once per season in their home-town. Inspiring collaborations often formed at Summer Festivals throughout the country and around the world now have a home in New York City. Hudson Chamber Society believes vibrant, intimate performances are what chamber music is all about. The Rush Hour Concert Series at the Yamaha Piano Salon gives busy New Yorkers an earlier option for great chamber music during the week. Membership of Hudson Chamber Society helps ensure these concerts continue and entitles you to a season of great performances and invitations to special events and rehearsals. Membership also helps fund our and outreach program in New York City schools. By being exposed to tailored programs of chamber music young children are able to see and hear the joy of making music by experiencing a very personal and emotional interaction between musicians and audience. Hudson Chamber Society is proud to have Yamaha Artists Services as its presenting partner for this exciting series of concerts.
