Inspire, uplift, and encourage! We hear these words expressed as hallmarks of great learning and teaching. Yet, how do we foster these ideals in our classrooms? This year, the Teaching Practices Colloquium focuses attention on the fun, the enjoyment, the sheer joy of teaching and learning. Bring back the SPARK to your courses. Kindle the learning atmosphere, and set aflame your students' interest and involvement. Recapture the high notes of your teaching experience with your colleagues through passionate seminars and heart-filled sessions designed to raise your spirits, offer up humour, and instill a fresh sense of purpose in the practical aspects of your teaching.
Please join us on February 16, 2015 for our 11th annual Teaching Practices Colloquium at Thompson Rivers University. The Teaching Practices Colloquium is an event which enables us to share teaching/learning ideas and experiences with colleagues. The TPC is driven by an interdisciplinary committee which aims to provide an enriching experience for all.
The ticket deadline has been extended on this site until February 5, 2015 midnight.
**Late registration will be available at the door of TPC (outside of the Mountain Room in the Campus Activity Centre) on Feb 16, 8am to 10am, cost $30.00 cash or cheque.
