Grown Folks Lab Band with Khari Allen Lee

Six Rehearsals:

Adult musicians with at least 1 year of experience on their instrument are invited to hone their skills in performance, improvisation and music literacy while networking with potential collaborators and passing a good time in a light, supportive atmosphere. Under the direction of acclaimed musician-educator Khari Allen Lee, this 6-week course and concert will explore favorites from the New Orleans R&B tradition. Proceeds will benefit Musicollaborative's children's programs to assist in the purchase of new instruments and support the scholarship fund.

Participants must provide their own instruments and/or amps with the exception of keyboard and drums which will be available on site. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you go to register and it says that your instrument of choice is sold out call 504-942-7606 or email musiclabnola@gmail.com right away and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
