ECHO . BROWN
-----------------------------------------------
"Black Virgins are Not for Hipsters"

Echo is about to lose her virginity to a good looking white hipster that she met on Craigslist. This will happen in ten minutes. That gives Echo just enough time to do exactly what you shouldn't do the first time you are about to get laid: contemplate America's racial problems. Echo is black. So she's used to pondering race. But she doesn't want to ponder race IN THIS MOMENT. Right now, all she wants to do is convince herself that she is beautiful, despite a lifetime of conditioning to the contrary. To make herself believe in her own beauty, Echo will pray to all of the gods, call her best friend over 20 times, and talk to her cat about the meaning of life.

ELIZA .  GIBSON
-------------------------------------
"And Now, No Flip Flops?!"

Eliza is wandering sand dunes in southwestern Madagascar early dawn looking for her flip flops. This is the morning after a drunken night of dancing and roasted goat on a spit lands her in the sand dunes with some random local guy. She is so pissed at herself for losing her favorite flip flops. She's got two weeks left in Africa, no flip flops, and is returning to face the same life she left behind-divorced with an ex-wife she couldn't legally marry and cross-country co-custody of their 72 pound dog. How will she ever find home again?

JERRY . FRANKLIN
--------------------------------------------------
"Losing a Spouse Runs in the Family"

What do you do after your wife dies suddenly and unexpectedly? If you're anything like Jerry, you go back to your roots:  hoarding, financial chaos, and a total inability to reconnect with a woman. Grief is not fun -- but it can be funny.
