Directed by Alberto Arvelo and penned by CHILDREN OF MEN screenwriter Timothy J. Sexton, the film follows Bolívar's rise from "little rich boy" among the Venezuelan colonial elite to revolutionary military and political hero in the fight for independence from Spain.
