OPEN HOUSE - HERALDS OF HOPE THEATER

The Heralds of Hope Theater Company, is a 501(c)3, non-profit theater established in Montgomery County to bring vitality to community theater by supporting new playwrights, actors, directors, and others who want to learn about theater management. For the past five years, Heralds of Hope has produced several award winning plays in the Baltimore area. The complimentary Open Houses on November 30 and December 14, 2014 are a prelude to the theater's opening season at the Randolph Road Theater location. Guests will be provided refreshments and an hour of short dramatizations and vignettes that display the talents and range of plays to be produced. The theater's opening production, a play titled, "The Last Shall Be First," will be held March 27 - April 26, 2014. It is an original play written by Dr. Percy W. Thomas that depicts the conflict of emotions that existed between the slave and slave master. The play provides another perspective into an ugly period in American history. There is no cost for the Open House activities.
