Tim Lee 3 House Concert / Mid-Autumn R&R Party

Mid-Autumn rock & roll party? That is exactly what Roots Hoot House Concerts serves up on Saturday, November 15. On the menu is Knoxville-based roots rock and rollers the Tim Lee 3.

Three chords and a cloud of dust. That is how the Tim Lee 3 describe their music. Call 'em a power trio with a sincere Southern flavor, not unlike an old favorite of ours, the band Blue Mountain. Whereas Tim Lee 3 haven't been making music together as long, their roots similarly dig deep into Southern R&R. The band is fronted by the husband-wife team of Tim and Susan Lee. Tim's rock & roll roots go back to the 1980s when he fronted '80s indie jangle pop cult favorites The Windbreakers. On the Tim Lee 3 side of the things, the couple's vocal interplay draw comparisons to everyone from John and Exene Cervenka on the edgy side to Buddy and Julie Miller on he melodic side as rock & roll country as it is country rock & roll. There's passion and fire in their music, with plenty of backbeat to get those asses shaking. And most importantly, they are great folks!

Come hang and see for yourself right here in the heart of the Rocky Brook section of Peace Dale as the Tim Lee 3 raises the roof on the evening of Saturday, November 15! Doors are at 7 pm and show time at 7:30. Don't miss out! This is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an evening of great music. Sounds like win-win to us.
