Once On This Island
A modern adaptation of the fairy tale The Little Mermaid with a distinctly Caribbean flavor, Once on This Island tells the story of Ti Moune, a beautiful peasant girl, whose love for a wealthy boy draws the attention of the gods themselves. Ti Moune battles the forces of nature and class prejudice to claim her heart's desire in order to prove that love is more powerful than death itself. With a tuneful score from the creators of Ragtime and Seussical, Once on This Island will enchant every member of the family.
Directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Larry Rice, choreography by Jayne Zaban.
