Cantigas de Santa Maria
The lively miracles performed by the Virgin Mary, as told in 13th-century manuscripts collected by King Alfonso X of Spain. This concert incorporates illuminations from the original manuscripts, shown by guest scholar-musician Robert Eisenstein, who joins the Medieval Women's Choir instrumental band. Soprano Marian Seibert and baritone Richard Hill
complete the ensemble.
