New West Guitar Group

New West Guitar Group, a trio of gifted young guitarists based in Los Angeles, is touring to promote their fifth studio release Big City. The trio Perry Smith, Jeff Stein and John Storie- blossomed out of USC's Thornton School of Music, and have been making their mark as a fresh, cutting-edge guitar ensemble all over the United States and abroad. Performing classic popular covers, jazz standards and exciting originals encompassing every genre from folk, rock, classical, jazz, blues and more, NWGG combines laid-back virtuosity and expert arrangements of acoustic and electric guitar to create their signature sound. Following the critically acclaimed 2011 release of Round Trip Ticket, NWGG grooves in Big City , a sophisticated sonic landscape showcasing hot original tunes and captivating covers of Tears for Fears, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and The Police.
