Seattle playwright Louis Broome's semi-autobiographical play, explores the horror of murder and the healing power of family and forgiveness in fresh, funny, and stylistically creative ways.
From echoes of Hamlet, to Brechtian epic drama, and into a realistic exploration of a modern lesbian couple, Texarkana Waltz employs modern and classical sensibilities, colorful characters, and the occasional singing cowboy, to catapult us to the heartland of America as an Oklahoma clan struggles with the violent demons of its past.
