Howlin' Brothers House Concert/Oktoberfest
Roots Hoot House Concerts welcomes Nashville-based trio The Howlin' Brothers on Sunday, October 5, for a 4:30 pm show. We're calling this show our Oktoberfest BBQ and our pals from Three Dudes BBQ will be there serving their tasty beef brisket and pork. As for the centerpiece of the afternoon, The Howlin' Brothers are a deep rooted, three-piece string band that brings heart and passion into every performance. Their upbeat shows are heavy with original and traditional music, featuring the sounds of slide banjo, harmonica and old-time fiddle. The Howlin' Brothers just released their latest album "TROUBLE" produced by Brendan Benson for Readymade Records. Doors will open at 4 pm. This is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an afternoon/evening of great music. Sounds like win-win to us. BBQ will be $5 per plate and folks are encouraged to bring appetizers, side dishes, or dessert items.
