32nd Vivaldi by Candlelight: A Benefit Concert

The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy (UCCD) presents the 32nd Anniversary Vivaldi by Candlelight Benefit Concert, Saturday, December 6th, 2014, 8:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City. As Utah's only "all Baroque" concert it has long been a beloved fixture of the holiday season.

Please join us for one of Utah's most beloved holiday concerts and support the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy. This annual fundraising event highlights the music of the Baroque and features Utah's finest musicians and guest soloists. Acclaimed musician, composer and author, Gerald Elias will once again take the podium as Music Director for this year's concert.

UCCD is honored to welcome harpsichordist Mark Kroll as this year's guest soloist. Mr. Kroll has been acclaimed as one of the world's leading harpsichordists and fortepianists. During a career spanning more than forty years, he has performed on four continents, winning critical praise for his expressive playing and virtuosity. He has appeared with noted soloists and ensembles, played under the batons of conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Sir Simon Rattle, James Levine, Kurt Masur and Charles Dutoit, and has served as harpsichordist for the Boston Symphony since 1979.
