2014 Bible Symposium
Join Dr. Garwood Anderson, Professor of New Testament and Greek at Nashotah Theological Seminary and author.
At The Cathedral of All Saints on Saturday September 27 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The day includes coffee and danish in the morning and lunch at noon. Dr. Anderson will spend time leading a talk exploring the Gospels.
Dr. Anderson's research interests center especially on narrative approaches to reading the gospels, the parables of Jesus, Pauline soteriology, and the theological appropriation of the New Testament. His publications include articles and reviews in the Catholic Biblical Quarterly, The Journal for the Study of the New Testament, The Scottish Journal of Theology, Review of Biblical Literature, Catalyst, Lectionary Homiletics and reference articles in The Dictionary of Major Biblical Interpreters, the New Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, and the Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels (2d ed., forthcoming).
