The Tappan Zee Bridge Experience: Past, Present and Future
When: Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 9:30 am-1 pm, rain or shine
Where: Boarding at Haverstraw Marina (9:30-9:45 am). Trip concludes at the marina at 1 pm
Price: $80 per person (HSRC members); $85 per person (non-members. Includes boat transportation, guided tour, and a box luncheon.
The Tappan Zee Bridge is currently the largest infrastructure project under way in the United States. The HSRC is pleased to offer an exclusive opportunity to observe this important undertaking from a unique vantage point. Join us on the River Rose, a Mississippi-style paddlewheeler, as we cruise along the Rockland shore of the Hudson River to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Participants will view the current bridge construction from vantage points which are as near to the bridge as LEGALLY & SAFELY possible. Narration and commentary will be provided by historians from the HSRC as well as from leaders of the current bridge project (Tappan Zee Constructors). These guides will also be available to answer any questions guests have about the past, present and future of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
On our return trip, guests will enjoy a cruise along the Westchester shoreline.

Please note that the boat will leave from the Haverstraw Marina, 600 Beach Road, West Haverstraw, New York
Directions to Haverstraw Marina: Via Palisades Parkway to exit 15, direction, Stony Point. Go 3 miles to Route 9W (T junction). Go left, or north, 1/4 mile to traffic light. Go right on East Main Street. 1 1/2 miles. From North: Take Route 9W South to traffic light at Stony Point. Go left on East Main Street, 1 1/2 miles. From South: Take Route 9W North to West Haverstraw. Go right after Samsondale Plaza on Railroad Avenue for 1 3/4 miles. Follow signage for parking and dock.
Cancellation policy: Refunds will only be given if space can be filled by another guest prior to trip. A waiting list will be compiled and available spaces filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those with full payment will be accommodated.

Morning, caught the info regarding the boat tour - but, I can't make that date - and its sold out.
Perhaps "you guys" could consider doing this again and let me know.

Thanks for contacting us via Brown Paper Tickets. We're thrilled at the response to our TZB Experience boat tours on August 12 and September 4, both of which have sold out very quickly. We will not be able to do a third trip this fall but may do so next year, if public interest remains high.
