Spanish-Themed Wine & Food Scholarship Benefit Event

Strictly limited attendance, members only.

A special evening with renowned Washington winemaker Doug McCrea as he presents his entire portfolio of Salida wines - (Salida means "to leave, exit" in Spanish) - at his on-site winery and 25 acre estate in Yelm, WA. This event will raise enough to fund one AIWF scholarship.

We recommend allowing 2 hours drive time from the Seattle area to Salida Wine Bar.

You can make reservations at the very nice Prairie Hotel, which is next to Salida Wine Bar - rather then attempting a late drive back to Seattle. Hotel rates are approx $110 per night including tax. You can also camp out on Doug's lawn if you want to (bring your own camping gear). Or bring a motor home (please let us know if you are doing this so we can arrange parking at the winery)

The "Rhone Ranger", Doug McCrea, has switched gears and gone Spanish! Presenting 7 Spanish varietal wines grown/sourced in Washington State by Doug.

Graciano - a Spanish varietal and very rare one, especially in Washington! Doug's first batch. You will be some of the first to try it!
Tres Vinos - Granacha 43%, Tempranillo 28.5%, Monastrell 28.5%
Tempranillo - this one has been making Salida famous!
Fuego Sagrado - Malbec and Tempranillo blend
Mataro - made from 80% Monastrell (similar to Mouvedre) and 20% Petite Syrah
Albarino - delicious and refreshing Spanish white varietal
Vino Blanco - made from Granacha Blanca
