Gallery Suite Jazz Series - June
Welcome to Season II of the Gallery Suite Jazz Series!
Experience a unique, intimate music showcase in a hip, urban, raw studio space hosted by International recording artist and saxophonist Phil Denny. You and your guest(s) can expect the finest level of artistry from musical talents from around the state, bordering states and Canada with an emphasis on diversion though pure musical entertainment. With a limited seating capacity, those present will feel as though the music is being performed just for them. Open wood ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls create the ideal backdrop for a night of lively entertainment.
This months featured artist is bassist/multi-instrumentalist and producer Shaun LaBelle hailing from Minneapolis, MN. Shaun has an extensive industry resume and has worked with a host of artists including Ray Charles, Paula Abdul, Sheila E, David Pack, Everett Harp, Charlie Wilson, Jeff Lorber, Branford Marsalis, Howard Hewitt and many more. The gallery suite doors will open at 7:00pm. Guests are welcome and encouraged to stroll the gallery prior to the show to view the artwork, decorative textures, custom finishes, exclusive furniture and more.
The music showcase will begin promptly at 8:00pm. Estimated showtime is 90-100 minutes.
CASH BAR AVAILABLE! The cash bar (beer & wine) option is made available by the Entrepreneur Institute (A non-profit organization.) Select wines are provided by Burgdorf's Winery of Haslett.
The Knight Cap restaurant will be on sight offering $5 small plate options (cash only) for those who choose to indulge. Menu to be determined. Also, following the performance is a proper hang at The Exchange (balcony level) just doors down from the gallery.
Entry to the gallery suite is located in the back of the gallery (south) just off Museum Drive. THE GSJS IS AN OPEN SEATING FORMAT. Parties of four however, will be assigned a table. If your group is larger than four seats, we will do our best to ensure your tables are near to each other. Group table placement is based on the order transaction date.
