OLIVER! A 2009 Winter Musical with 8 performances! presented byGualala Arts and Art Center Theater
Gualala Arts' Art Center Theater is pleased to announce its 2009 Winter Musical production!
Lionel Bart's "Oliver!" - based on the classic Charles Dickens novel "Oliver Twist" - will take the stage for eight performances in December.
"Oliver!" follows the title character from the toils of a workhouse through the tough streets of London to the safe arms of his long lost family. Along the way, he meets a host of exciting, and sometimes dangerous, characters. "Oliver!" one of the most beloved British musicals of all time, vividly brings Dickens' timeless characters to life, with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more.
If you are interested in joining Art Center Theater's not-so-little family, contact the director, Lynne Atkins - her favorite pastime is welcoming new members into the fold. But whether you decide to join us on stage or in the audience, you certainly MUST 'Consider Yourself One of Us!'
Tickets are $20 adults, $10 youth (12 & under) in advance; $5 more day of performance.
