*Kidon Wednesday, June 18 | 7:30 PM Kidon begins in the morning of the 18th of February 2010 when the whole world wakes up discovering, on the front page of all the newspapers, pictures of Mossad agents caught while killing Mahmoud al Mabhouh in Dubai a month earlier. It was the first time that simple security cameras of a hotel caught secret agents red-handed. But without doubt, the most surprised of all were the Mossad leaders who were the only ones to know for sure that the three men and the woman, whose faces were in all the newsrooms of the world, had nothing to do with them. From then on, a race against time is undertaken hoping to understand why everything is aiming at them.
*Cupcakes(Bananot La-Eroviszion) Wednesday, July 16 | 7:30 PM Award-winning filmmaker Eytan Fox returns with a stylized, light musical comedy about life, love, and friendship. To escape the stress of their daily lives, a group of young Tel Aviv neighbors congregate to watch Universong, a Eurovision-style song contest. Uninspired by the dull Israeli entry and seeking to cheer up a heartbroken friend, the group spontaneously composes its own cheesy tune and, on a whim, submits it to the judges. To their surprise, the song is chosen to represent Israel in the finals competition in Paris. Facing creative pressures from the comically inept Israel Broadcasting Authority, the group is forced to choose between friendship and fame.
*Halfon Hill Doesn't Answer (Giv'at Halfon Eina Ona) Wednesday, August 20 | 7:30 PM As a tribute to the late Assi Dayan, we present Halfon Hill Doesn't Answer, the comedic take on Israeli military mischief through the eyes of three Army reservists in the Sinai desert who do everything short of performing their actual duties. The popular comedy trio HaGashash HaHiver try holding their personal and romantic lives together, which makes it all the more stressful for their sergeant, who's preparing for a visit from the regional commander. But the men are finally forced to step up when one of their members falls into the hands of an equally dysfunctional Egyptian border patrol.
