Rhythmix kicks off its 7th anniversary celebration with an evening of exceptional entertainment featuring some of the best music, art and wine, the Bay Area has to offer. Musical offerings include blues, jazz, accordion, belly dancing, taiko, cello and more, plus costumed revelry, libations and tasty temptations from local producers. A silent auction with highly prized donations will support RCW's Performance Art and Learning program (PAL) and RCW's Island Arts Workshop series that provide free cultural arts programming to underserved youth*. RCW will also present the 1st annual Golden Gear Awards to the winners of the East Bay's best visual artist, performing artist and arts educator nominations.

Wine Women and Song's stellar lineup includes Terrie Odabi (Winner of the Golden Gate Blues Society's International Blues Challenge and Semi-Finalist of the Memphis, Tennessee's International Blues Challenge), the charmingly insane Accordion Babe: Jet Black Pearl, Velina Brown (lead singer/actor of SF Mime Troupe), Tracy Blackman (award-winning vocalist + rockin' R&B guitarist), Kathy Moehring (Broadway jazz), Rachel Rolleri (American Idol: Road to Hollywood winner), Ebb & Flow (belly dance), the Rhythmix Ensemble (world fusion), Ginny Parsons (environmental artist) and much more.

*These programs are provided at no cost to participants and are undertaken in partnership with the Alameda Unified School District, the Alameda Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc. of the Island City and the Alameda Music Project.
