"Pants"
written and performed by THAO P. NGUYEN
Developed in the Solo Performance Workshop with Martha Rynberg
-------------------------------------------------------------
Thao is utterly unable to talk about her feelings. Imagine being in a relationship with her! Her partner comes up with the brilliant idea of saying "pants" after feeling-words to help Thao overcome her aversion to emotional expression. For instance, "I've been a grumpy-pants." Or, "I'll go get my apology-pants." You get the idea. It's worked so well that they're now getting married! In the wedding planning, however, Thao is learning who really wears the pants -- her future mother-in-law. (www.ThaoSolo.com)

"The Disappearance of Alfred Lafee" (an excerpt)
written and performed by PETER L. STEIN
-------------------------------------------------------------
True story: San Francisco, 1923. The naked body of a young rabbi is found brutally beaten in a Fillmore District flophouse. The accused perpetrator - a handsome teenaged sailor - never stands trial, and the incident is buried and forgotten. Now a museum curator is finding himself obsessed by the long-ago scandal. His investigation raises questions about how the past is recorded and erased, and uncovers the murder's haunting impact down the generations.

"Ambivalent Conception"
written and performed by AMY K. KILGARD
-------------------------------------------------------------
Amy's back in the stirrups again--and not the kind that come with a saddle--the kind that come with overgrown zucchini-sized wands with cameras being shoved where they really have no business. Unless, of course, you're in the business of trying to conceive, which Amy may or may not be.

"Is it worth living in Hell, just because the sky is blue?"
written and performed by MARION LOVINGER
-------------------------------------------------------------
1982. Marion is 22 and ready for anything to escape grey Paris.
Including love and lies, as long as it means living anywhere south of the Mediterranean sea. Does it matter if the man drinks Pastis first thing in the morning and watches Clockwork Orange in loop? Or if the country is one of the worst in the world?
As long as it is warm and sunny, nothing bad can happen.
