Sharing Our Stories: Memoir-Writing Workshop Part 2

Everyone has a story to tell, and writing a memoir is a great way to share yours. One way to make your memoir stand out from the crowd is to apply the techniques of fiction to writing nonfiction. In part 2 of this workshop series, we will focus on particular writing skills, in-class writing exercises, and critiques of participants' works-in-progress. It is NOT necessary to have attended part 1!

Barbara Morrison, who writes under the name B. Morrison, is the author of a memoir, Innocent: Confessions of a Welfare Mother, and two poetry collections, Terrarium and Here at Least.
